I am unsure if any or many of you have heard of this expression, but the simplest definition is " the unobtainable".
What this pertains to in this tangent of the mind is the one that got away.
Let us back track and get some information on this situation before the ending is told to soon. I am a caterer, I specialize in weddings but pretty much go anywhere there are large groups of people. I received a phone call from someone who I was " in love with" all throughout high school. I left that place very shortly after graduation for California, which is were I currently reside.
So let us get back to the task, I was asked to be a part of the " one that got away" wedding. Not just show up or maybe party of the wedding party, but she also wants me to cater it!
I haven't seen her in years... and I was already planning to go back around the same time to see family and what not... so she is now officially the white elephant in all respects.
The purpose of this post is to inspire advice for what I should do..... for I am lost.
