So Black Friday is almost upon us, and no one is less excited about it than moi. However, I am excited about some turkey. That's something I think I can be quite thankful about.

So, anyway, as you can see, after a hiatus, I'm back. As of now, I don't foresee myself taking another one anytime soon, especially since I'll have a ton of free time coming up after inventory at work (the hours, like every year, will deplete greatly, and I'm dropping the second job after X-Mas has passed). On the plus side, I can actually afford to take the time off this year. And if money gets low, I've got bartending to fall back on, since my regular hangout wants me to come aboard for a couple of nights a week. And, why not? That's at least an extra $300 in cash a week, so I'm all for it.

I'm getting a place with Corey once he's got his finances in order, so I can finally get out of the less than stellar living environment I've been in for more than 3 years. Baby steps, but its finally getting done.

I honestly believe this will be the first holiday season and upcoming new year that I've actually looked forward to and without a hint of disdain in a pretty long time. I'm pretty happy about that.

Oh, and what the hell. How about a new poem?
