Just clinched the bike for my joke tri, so it's all set. Got the hot pink shag fur, got the cruiser, now all I need is streamers for the handlebars, clicky things for the spokes, and a football helmet. Oh, and a tu-tu.
I think we'll be premiering this shitely fantastic ensemble at a sprint tri up in Oxnard in March. I mean, Oxnard, of all places, seams like the perfect place.
'S funny, really. All it took to get a bike was to yell across a room fulla drunk grad student-folk who misheard my question for an affirmation and madly applaused me. Shit, I shoulda rode this tri bike through that crowd, had a beer, backflipped, and went home.
