A comical Saturday, a painful Sunday
At work of course.
At lunch had a nice ride out to the local comicbook and swim shops, only to get a specatular flat on my way back, right in front of this Korean BBQ restaurant. Travis came to pick me up, but not before I had experienced trying to explain flat tire replacement theory in very simple english to all the customers walking by - which was pretty fun, until this old Korean grandmother came by who tried to set me up on a date with her granddaughter, who was nearby laughing at us with her boyfriend.
Its so nice to get out of UTC.
Picked up the new Desolation Jones and Fell, which'll be my evening with a cuppa tea, a pesky cat and 8hrs o' shuteye. Tomorrow Travis and some friends of his are going to introduce me to the whole Joshua Tree climbing experience, which means they're gonna leave to fend for myself on a cliff face in the middle of nowhere. A scenic situation, to be sure. And I can only imagine my hands'll look like ground meat afterwards.
To home, dear stephen, lest you become a permanent fixture to your hood.
