I'm not a huge blogger, but that really big "You have not posted a blog yet" banner was bumming me out. So, I guess I will ramble a little bit, so that I don't feel dirty for posting a blog with the sole purpose of removing that banner. Although I was tempted to write one word, "Blog" and post it, and then just pretend I was being all deep and cryptic and all that deliciously convoluted nonsense.
So this particular blog post will be about motivation, more specifically what motivates me, since I was motivated to write this blog because of the banner, as mentioned above. I am motivated by the immediate, it seems most people are not, or at least are better at being motivated by the distant, IE: I do my homework in high school so I get into a good college. I do my work in college so I get a good job. I work hard at my job so I eventually get a raise. Less so for me. For me it is, I am starving and require food, I will seek out a client and get all graphic designy on them until they pay me. Or, I am thirsty I will get off my ass and get something to drink. I don't know why I am this way, and it is a difficult way to live, but I'm getting by.
