I can understand that. I felt the same way when my neighborhood "dairy store" closed when I was a young(er) adult. As a kid I had met almost every single close friend I ever had there. Later it became the place where almost every girl I had ever had a crush on worked. Still later, as an adult I became close friends with the aging owners. I was heartbroken when they finally decided to close up. I still miss the place.
