I gave my two-weeks notice at the place I work at. I'm just not getting enough hours a week there. Its pulling teeth to get more than 25 hours. A friend of mine from culinary school offered me a job at his place, doing catering for private airlines. 40 hours a week with all the overtime I want. Of course the downside is that I'm going to have to be at work at 6:00a.m.

I'm going to miss my current job. I like selling overpriced cheese to yuppies. Yummy, delicious, tasty overpriced cheese. *drool*

But at work today, the woman who owns the company was talking to me. I told her I wanted to do my culinary school internship at Chez Panisse. She cooked/managed there for 17 years. She added if I wanted an internship, she'd talk to Alice Waters and try to get me in.
