Damn it's nice to sleep in my own bed again. The drive back was nothing; I can't believe it went by so fast. I missed the tornado in Limon by roughly twenty minutes, and got sunburned along the left side of my body, but otherwise remain unscathed. It's also awesome having a functioning vehicle again.

Nearly a week of rain. That's unheard of here, from what I can tell. The ground is saturated, and everything's growing like crazy. The city's not faded shag carpet- green anymore! Too much crappy wine last night, my head feels like its been stuffed with cotton. We just sat around drinking and watching Killing Zoe; great flick.

Yesterday I saw a guy sitting out in front of the restaurant I work in. At his feet, there was a dog. On the dog's back was a saddle, seating one cat. On the cat's back, there were two white mice running around. This isn't a metaphor for anything...this was actually happening. That wins the sureal scene award for my year thus far.
