Goddam, I feel fucking spectacular. Day four, no more smoking. My senses of smell and taste are a hundred times better already, and no coughing in the mornings. Tons of energy. To take my mind off of the void that formed, I've been getting up into the mountains and hiking like crazy, and cleaning. Tonight will be the first night I'll be drinking since I quit, and that will be a real trial. That and classes starting again. No problem.

how can the olympics be so bloody addicting? i was watching "shot-put" the other night and i actually cared got into it...and i'm not a typical sport-spectator sort....
