Yesterday I saw a guy sitting out in front of the restaurant I work in. At his feet, there was a dog. On the dog's back was a saddle, seating one cat. On the cat's back, there were two white mice running around. This isn't a metaphor for anything...this was actually happening. That wins the sureal scene award for my year thus far.

Nothing instills primal fear like walking around with an umbrella in a crazy-ass thunderstorm, with visibly grounding lightning not so far off. What an awesome night! Thunderstorms are easily one of the best things this planet can inflict. The novelty of summer is almost wearing off; I want to be back in school.
