Blog homework: What advice would you give your teenage (or younger) self?

Hi SG world,
At first, thanks to @missy and @rambo for this topic.

I'm posting it not in the week it was launched but I hope that's ok too :)

That's me in my sweet 16s and me now (23 yo).
I usually laugh a lot whenever I see old pics like this, but sometimes I feel nostalgic when they're about friends that disappeared from my life.
An advice I'd really give to my teenage self in fact, if we could meet in a parallel universe in a Rick & Morty style or in a time travelling Doctor Who episode, it's not to go after people who are probably just jealous or bitter about something I'd never precisely understand.

To be clearer, I learned the hard way sometimes people be mad at you or don't talk to you anymore for reasons that have NOTHING to do with your actions or your loyalty toward them but they're simply angry or annoyed about what they think you are and they don't have the bravery to admit it: for some I was a boyfriends-stealer even if I've never be interested in my friends' boys or girls, a freak, a nerd, a stupid chick who can't do anything etc.
I always try to be kind and fair to my friends and give help when needed, because to me friendship is important, but some (mostly girls, but also a boy) for example, totally "unfriended" me four years ago when I started to pose as an model and even more nearly three years ago when I started to pose naked for SG.
(On the other hand, thanks to this I knew a lot wonderful people; suicidegirls, alt models in general and photographers who became very close friends. All across Italy and some even abroad.)

It seems obvious to me now to try to not suffer a lot (even if I can't fully avoid it) for this kind of bullshit. But when I was a teen I was very emotional and I was always wondering what was wrong in me.
Now stuff like mean comments about my Instagram or my pics make me laugh because I want to stay away from judgy people and ironically when I notice this it helps me a lot to understand who's open-minded and friendly and who's not and eventually rrrruuuun away.

Sometimes a "fuck off" is the best thing (in a figurative sense, not in a figurative sense, whatever). And about the pics c'mon dudes, it's just internet!

I don't want to have time for petty people.
Be kind always and be supportive, that's another thing I'd not just say to my teenage me but to everyone.

<3

A true friend is going to be one of the most important relationships you will ever have in your life. I think a true friend shows themselves during times when you are really struggling and they show up selflessly and just be there for you. A true friend will love you for you not what you can do for them. Any friend who judges you, talks about you behind your back is no friend at all, just a poison in your life

I would tell myself it is okay to seek help and support when things are not okay. There will be someone there, even if you don't know it. Don't bottle up your anger, but instead write it out and find a logical solution instead of drowning your sorrows in self pity or some substance. It is not cool to be the most awesome guy, it is cool to be yourself and honest. There are people who will care for you if you are those things. Always treat people right and brush off the ones who dont treat you right, they are going through something too.
