Blog homework: 5/29: Who are your favorite artists? Share some of your favorite pieces by them!

Thanks @missy and @rambo for this, I'm in love with art so I'm very glad to share my tastes.

This pic is from the set that made me become pink Snake a peek at my studio (and wich I love most) and it's about a drawing I was working at: like a fansign from me to my favourite artist ever, Hans Ruedi Giger!
I'm totally in love with biomechanical stuff, art works, movies, tattoos, cosplays...
But Giger was (unfortunately He went missing about two years ago) so unique and special that he influenced entire generations and not just with his art but working in the Cinema too, designing the Aliens and his landscapes in Ridley Scott's film "Alien" and collaborating and designing for many other films and a videogame too: Dark Seed.
His world was so dark and so deep that maybe it's hard to comprehend, and it doesn't need it, but it's so special that everyone's attracted, scared, or fascinated by it.

Then, I have two more "underground" artists (that are the awesome to me): one for the paintings and one for the sculpture.

The first one is Zdzislaw Bekinski, a Polish painter, photographer and sculptor who have had a very unlucky life and died stabbed to death, but impressed us with his fantastic and surreal imaginary worlds,

The second one, a very underground one, is Emil Alzamora, whose surreal sculptures inspire me a sense of freedom and oppression at the same time and can always make me feel something.

Hope you'll enjoy them too!

I like your taste. I guess I have to find out more about this Bekinski. Love those pictures.

Bekinski is something that we'd look into.  We bought over $5000 worth of paintings last year.  We intend to sell most of them, but will keep the ones we really like.
