Blog Homework: Random acts of kindness

Thanks @missy and @rambo for that ;)

Maybe the title is not appropriate for my situation but this situation really broke my heart in someway.
I was wondering and hanging and drinking (like usual) at a local music festival and I had to go to the bathroom.
Well, there was a man outside the toilets who was keeping them clean and he said me: "you can't go inside with your beer bottle, I'll have to keep it outside", and then laughing "I'll drink some".
I answered him "okay I've a glass for you, me and my friends are full of beer".
His reaction was absurd, he blinked his eyes and said "no no I was just kidding, no one ever offered me something to drink, don't worry you don't have to! I'm a refugee".
My heart totally broke. He thanked me too and too much and it seemed incredulous and too happy to drink that, but I didn't nothing! I just dropped in his glass some beer!
Just because he was a non-white man escaped from Syria NO ONE of "us" (are we really talking about "us" as a separate group of people?) ever did a small act of kindness to him, and well, to me it wasn't considered kindness at all, it's just routine! if you keep my bottle outside the toilet when I'm in, it's good if I offer you some.

I think this world must change, from the small things, like this.
We're always so aggressive and recently I noticed that it's something like fashionable to spread hate and racism instead of support for the people...

Think about it please, I'm not a "peace and love for everyone" person, but I'm proud about NOT being a racist and coward one.
