I'm writing this from the strangest place you could imagine.. but nontheless, I figured it was time for another entry.

For some reason.

So.. I feel like I'm pulling a 'High Fidelity' here- but what is everyones 'Top Ten' for songs?

I'm a little mixed up at the moment, but here are the ones RIGHT off the top of my head- for this very moment and this moment alone.

The list may, and will, change.

In no particular order:

1) Dot Allison "We're Only Science"
2) Def Lepard "Animal"
3) Queen & David Bowie "Under Pressure"
4) Trent Reznor/NIN & David Bowie "Hurt (live)"
5) Kate Bush "This Womans Work"
6) Radiohead "Pyramid Song"
7) Haul & Oats "Maneater"
8) Pat Benetar "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"
9) Prince "Litte Red Corvette"
10) Smashing Pumpkins "1979"
"Today" (it's a tie)

And honorable mentions go to :

Marilyn Manson- Anything off the 'Antichrist Superstar' album

Nine Inch Nails - Anything and everything, but Trents true genius is his usgae of computers in/for music, and his development of soundtracks for badass films

"I'm not a goth, I just look like one"
(not really..)

karoshi:
That's spooky-there are a lot of memories for me on your list: I've seen NIN 8 times, once w/Bowie, once w/Manson. That Kate Bush song brings tears every time I hear it watching "She's Having a Baby", and my sis and I have a Def Leppard blood pact (you don't want to know). My 3:27 AM top ten (in no order): 1. Tori Amos "Tear in Your Hand", 2. Dance Hall Crashers "Othello", 3. NIN "Ringfinger", 4. Machines of Loving Grace "Rite of Shiva", 5. Sugarcubes "Coldsweat", 6. Radiohead "Fake Plastic Trees", 7. PWEI "Wake Up! Time to Die", 8. My Bloody Valentine "Soon", 9. Bryan Ferry "Crazy Love", 10. The Pixies "No. 13 Baby"

nox:
Oh my Lover - PJ Harvey
The Figurehead - The Cure
New Noise - Refused
Careless Memory - Duran Duran
Paint it Black - Rolling Stones
The Car Song - Mary Campbell
Sexy Boy - Air (the bass line is just so awesome)
Stormtrooper in Drag - Gary Numan
Ophelia - Teargarden
Go with the Flow - Queens of the Stone Age

Like yours, there's no order and it will change.
