I have a joooooooooooob! Whoooo this is excellent, excellent news! I filled out an app. at a country club yesterday, they called and asked me to come fill out the paperwork today, and I start in August! O this is excellent. I'll be workin' the bar/cafe. This means I might not starve next year, people! Now all I need is a summer job....
In other news, I've been incredibly productive over the last couple days-- not sleeping the day away as I usually spend my days off. They've been spent job searching, doing school work, and getting ahead on moooooore school work-aka my 15 pg paper. I'm reading Lolita right now (my paper is a comparison between the book and Kubrick's movie version) and it's the most beautiful book I've ever read. It' amazing how much I sympathize with Humbert Humbert, who should by all rights be a despicable character.
Hope everyone is having a day as great as mine (and I hope tonight isn't my last on SG!)
