Ugh!
So did anyone else waste 2 hours watching the remake of Salems Lot last night? I swear Stephen King will sign over movie rights for anything for a buck. The original Salems Lot was scary. And stayed true to the storyline. This one was just a stupid rip off that didnt even stay true to the book. Why were my expectations so high? I knew I should expect that this is the land where money rules all and creativity and staying true to ones art is long gone. I guess I just thought this time it might be different. The head vampire looked like crap there wasnt even time spent being creative with the special effects. They just through in some white contact lenses and some "goth" looking vampire chicks and thought that would be enough. I am seriously going to write a letter over this movie to Mr King and the TNT network. Yeah, I'm anal like that. But Im really dissappointed and I want my 2 hours back.
I drank last night with my good neighbor Mary. She made this swamp juice concotion out of herleftover bottles and just mixed it all together through some limes and orange slices in it and it wasnt half bad. Reminded me in college of this shit we use to make in a fishtank that had everything and anything in it. People would go by and drop various food into it. One time we even found a half eaten chicken leg and a wrapped up still in the package condom in it. Good times Good times. So my other neighbor the bitch finally has her fence up around her yard and theres No trespassing signs all over the fence. I guess she got mad everyone was cutting through her precious lawn to get to the main road. She seriously a stick in the mud. We tried inviting her over for a late night get ta know the neighbors kinda deal and she turned us down and has been a bitch ever since. Eh fuck her. Least I have the bug queen and her juicy concoctions to pass the time while we play peeping tom to our neighbors. Oh btw speaking of peeping toms I watched our lesbian neighbors behind our house make out again. I swear I love this neighborhood.
