I wanted to post a bunch of photos and the story from my trip thus far but the photos are too big. I wish SG would just resize them when you upload them so you don't have to do every time. Sigh. It will be a bit longer now because I have to find the time to resize them all first.
Minneapolis is treating me well so far except that I don't have a coat and it's freaking COLD. I'm living in a hotel room with 2 other people and 3 dogs right now and it's taxing on the best days, and costing me a small fortune. And to top it all off: My KOBO BROKE
I didn't bring books with me because they are too heavy, so I got a bunch of books on my kobo and brought that but it broke.
That makes me a sad monkey.
I've pretty much depleted all the saving at this point and I'm relying on what I make at work to pay for the hotel while also trying to save enough to get an apartment. There is a lot of stress going on right now.
On the plus side: I have discovered this awesome thing called dill pickle flavored sun flower seeds and I think I'm officially addicted now. It's full of YUM! Good thing too, they don't need to be cooked (hotel has no microwave or fridge) and they are cheep. Problem is: if I eat anymore of them I may turn into a sunflower seed.
I've been considering leaving here and heading to Virginia but I don't know what the clubs are like money wise out that way and I don't know anyone who works out there either. If anyone has any insight I would be a happy camper if you shared it with me.
And now, for a shower and some sleep.
