My dogs are so freaking funny! I mean, they HATE water. I don't know why but they avoid it like the plague. However, my shepherd loves ice cubes. She loves to play with them, throw them around, chew on them...I think maybe it's her way at getting back at the evil bathtub monster.

Anyway, so my AC was out for two days (Florida is hot in case you didn't know already). My poor fluffy dogs looked miserable, so I put a bunch of ice cubes in their water bowl. Well, Presley decided to go bobbing for cubes! It was so cute and funny that I nearly fell down laughing. And so of course she has to come over and lick my face with her super cold super slimy wet tongue. Oh man, puppy kisses!

So here she is, stuffing her head in the bowl, and I mean her WHOLE head, trying to get these cubes out of it. She grabs one, pulls her face up, and does this horribly pathetic shaking shocked look before diving back in to do it again.



I went and saw Water for Elephants last night. What a great movie but it made me want to kill people. Still, great movie. Animal lovers be warned. It's sad, angry, and a great movie.
