so im guessing its time for an update...
found out like a week ago that jim has diabeties. sigh. where normal blood sugar should be round 95 - 110, his was 515 the first test. he walked around for a bit then had it checked again and it had gone UP insted of down. 545 the second. it shouldnt do that.
to add to that, we have no insurance at the moment. well im basically covered, but we are trying to get him covered asap so he can get a monitor and insulin and all that stuff. at least this isnt listed anywhere as a pre-existing condition.
i lost my wedding ring about three weeks ago. it sucked.. we looked everywere for it, nothing. then yesterday jim picked up my backpack wrong, but nothing fell out but my ring. so YEA!! i have my ring and my finger doesnt feel naked anymore.
i got a new job. its in additon to WPS, need the extra money. i work at a kiosk in both the east and west towne malls up here. its called under your skin, we sell body jewelery. pretty big selection, some pretty awesome stuff.
theres this long crazy depressing history with jim and my family. so us getting married was a secret, the parents found out by the janesville paper putting us in as a rock county marriage, when we got married in dane... odd.. but its starting to make things better, they are even letting jim come to thanksgiving at their house with the whole family... makes me happy that things are going in the right direction...
i ordered a cd back in february from a band called minibosses. i saw them in wired that month and it just seemed so cool and the cds were cheap so i decided to get one. well it didnt come and didnt come, and i kinda forgot about it. i was going through my paypal stuff in like august, and saw that and realized i never got it. so i went and found them online again, and told them i had never gotten my cd. no response, nothing, so i just wrote it off as 10 bucks i wouldnt ever get back. today my mom called me and told me i had a cd that had come in the mail. she finally figured out who it was from, and i finally have my minibosses! ha... long story i guess...
lastly in recent news(i think), we are getting a volcano. these things are the coolest. so much excitement in this house!
