Well I got my booty going yesterday kind of early because I wanted to get some work done so I could party later on. I packed up and went down to Bollo's as usual. I forgot that the international street fair was going on though and runs right in the area I was trying to work. I tried to work and did get a little done but it was fun. All the little kids running around and dancing and food and music from all over. Of course everyone had amazinf set ups and then you get to the Jamaican stand and they have this little ghetto ass grill and are all dancing around and not really paying attention, so naturally I sat down with them for a good while and the chicken they made was sooooo good. Eventually by around 5ish the festivities were over and cleaned up. I was about to really start working when this girl (Noelle) remarks on how she had the same book when she took the class and asked what teacher I had. Well we talked for about 3 hours and finally we both said screw the homework and headed up to PK's for drinks, pizza, and basketball. This girl knows more about basketball and football and every other sport than anyone I have ever met, it's insane. We ended up having a lot in common and talked and drank for a good while there. We met one really annoying guy that wouldn't leave us alone and one really cool gay ex-Navy Seal. Gotta love Blacksburg. We decided at about 10:40 that we wanted wings so we ran down to Sharkey's to order them before 11 when they stop serving food. We made it in time to get wings more drinks and watch the rest of the Duke/UConn game. Good times. Came home and was going to play video games but really had no interest in them so I crashed.
Now I gotta shower quick so I can go watch a deaf/hard of hearing dance company perform...should be awesome, incorporates sign language into the performance and a few other elements. Then to the gym and homework and vacuuming before emjay gets home.
