This is my first week back at college for my senior year, so of course it's been a lot of stress and not an adequate amount of sleep--I'm running on cold brew and sheer willpower and I tend to go a little too hard when it comes to academic projects. As I dive back in to academia and apply for graduate schools, I'm ridiculously grateful for the support shown to me by my friends, partners, and family.
The real MVP of my week has been @joelaphoto, who has driven me all around town to get various things prepared for my summer research presentation, let me hang out in his room doing homework all day, and devoured an entire pizza with me on a particularly stressful night.
Although most weekends I live in coffee shops working on my computer or in the crunching data, thanks to the rad crew of @joelaphoto, @esmer, and @darryldarko this weekend I got to unwind/shoot new content (check out the bomb photo @joelaphoto took of @esmer and me below)/have rad semi-intoxicated discussions about intersectional feminism and witchcraft (g'bless @esmer) and eat some fantastic food with new and old friends.
I do my best to let people know how much they help me out with both words and hugs, but I will definitely be buying @joelaphoto and @esmer pizza and drinks when we're in Seattle later this week!
