Fuck. My vacation got all fucked up. Pretty bummed. I was really looking forward to rock and roll wedding and New Mexico escape but now I have no idea what I'd do in Denver for 4 days by myself and changing the flight to go straight to NW was too frikkin expensive. So now I'm just going to work all weekend long. Oh well, I'm going LA next weekend instead and I plan on partying very, very hard.
Insert a bunch of stuff about people bitching, hipsters, the 'art' scene and making a living as an 'artist.' I had a long discussion about this bs last night and it was good for me but probably even better for the other party involved. People are stupid.
I FINALLY am taking ver my space at my house. It's official next week and I need to start building and spending soon. I also need a table saw, a drill and level and a stud finder.
Nextly, euro plans are almost done. Dublin, Tilburg, Brussels (maybe), Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Paris are all pretty much booked up. I'd like to add London on to the tail of this trip but so far no dice there.
Lastly, I've been asked to curate the art for Laneway Festival in Australia in Feb. and I'm pretty stoked about that. It's a huge opportunity and I've wanted to go to Australia since I was but a wee lad. I'd be traveling to every major city and seeing the whole danged place and all on someone else's dime! So here's to hoping that doesn't get all mucked-up! Finger's crossed.
