He just called me about that yesterday too.
If you wanna coordinate, we can have a band play. It's a toned down night..band sets up on the floor. They block off half of the club so it's way more intimate/small.
Just let me know when you feel like doing it. The offer is open.
As for the wood...it's not SUPER warped, but it's definitely not straight.
If you made a frame, or screwed it to a wall, it'd be fine I think.
They want the country band to play. If we did it, it would be with the understanding that no money would be made. It'd be like a practice w/ free beer, basically.
The turnouts vary, but people definitely come out if there's a reason to.
I'll promote it, and the club will promote it on their website/emails/etc too.
I sold a bunch of my prints when I did a show. Didn't get rich, but it was worth it. I'd imagine you'd do much better than I did.
Can't promise anything, but it's worth a shot.
