Well well wella new year crept up on us and now its 2008!
(To be honest I've still got no idea where 2007 wentI may check down the back of the sofa later)
Well for the first time I spent the eve of 2008 totally soberstayed in with the Lady after deciding that NYE is over priced and over
Apart from the quiet new years eve Christmas was a drunken blur of catching up with mates and quaffing ales. Didn't seem to catch up with as many people as I'd have liked but ho humParticular highlights include Clares xmas day partystaggered out a 4am boxing day having consumed my own body weight in pear flavoured alcoholic beverages! Hic!
So 2008.wonder what It'll bringif last night was anything to go by, hurricaine force winds waking me up at all hours
So new years resolutionsI ten to only make 1, and that's to make January a detox, alcohol and caffeine free monthI managed 28 days last year (That's a month isn't it??! Damned those clients offering free red wine) but this year will go for the whole 31 daysweekends are the hardestits easier (and cheaper) to stay in and veg when you're avoiding the demon drinkbut I always get this nagging "You just wasted the weekend" feeling whenever I get to Sunday night and I haven't been out and about
Apart from that I'm considering polishing up m CV and looking around for another job. Don't get me wrong I love this job but I'm sick of all the travelmaybe its just the monotony of getting back to work and post chrimbo bluesgah!
