Happy Saturday!!!
Jesus....I'm trying to go the whole of January without drinking.....a sort of Detox come test of will power....as you can imagine the weekends are the most difficult times, but luckily a couple of my drinking nemeses (Is that actually a word) have (independently I may add....does that tell you how much we love our drink) decided to stay clean for January too.
Now, I wouldn't mind not drinking but:
1) it gets me out of the house and stops me thinking about my current love life woes (to be called in future "her with no name")
2) Its fun
3) I still wake up the next morning with the feeling I've been on a proper British Binge session. Its just not fair!!!!
Apart from feeling crappy and needing more sleep than I ever seem capable of getting, lifes trundling along. 2007 is gathering pace and I'm moving out of my festive period blue session.
Going to go shopping on Amazon in a moment and buy lots of 2006's best albums that I never got round to buying.though I spend too much on CD's already, what's life without a soundtrack??!?!
Righty ho, before I bore you all to death, I'll sign off!
Hope you're all having fun, and if you have a cheeky beer tonight, think of me sat indoors watching Celebrity big brother or some such pap!!!
