Life is good these days my fellow SGers......
The Life-
Well I'm still clean and sober, it's accually surprisingly easy. I suppose it helps that almost all of my friends are clean and sober. Come to think of it, my life's done a 180 in that respect. I used to hang out with nothing but drug dealers and users, I don't mind hanging out with them but I dont seem to gravitate twards them anymore.
I've decided that if I'm going to be a counslor (wich I am) it's not enough for me to be sober, I need to be a role modle for my clients. I need to be a law abiding citicen and make responsable decisions. So I've been implimenting alot of changes to my lifestyle.
The Home-
Me and Maxine are settling into our new place very well, we don't have cable yet but we're working on it. We're both enjoying having a place all to uorselves with no roomates. For once we're both living in an accuall home...with couches and lazyboyzs and a kitchen table and stuff like that. We even have framed pictures of us and our families on the wall in the hallway....you know...the kind you see when you go to your friend's mom's house.
It would appear I'm becoming civilized.
The Relationship-
Me and Maxine are doing good as ever. If it weren't for financial complications I would marry her now....but I have to wait.
