Random bits more poetry. Tomorrow maybe I'll start posting the series I've been writing. It's gotten a great response on my other website. over 4000 reads since last march. But tonight, more lame poetry. hope it's not too bad.


Untitled


Token held for sweet salvation

Turned inside to cold damnation.

Bleeding fire, bathed in ice,

Normal never seemed so nice.



Frozen solid yet in June,

Hoping the thaw will come soon.

Flesh and sinew, blood and bone,

Toughening like hardened stone.



Eyes once merry, now morose,

Thoughts once shared, now held close.

Is it time, that ages so?

Or something else, I do not know?



Aimlessly I wander still,

Fighting off the empty chill.

Clear as ice and live like fire,

Raised up endless immortal pyre.



Never waning, always waxing,

Though to spirit, it is taxing.

Never falling without rise,

Into the dark spilling cries.



Alone against the sky to stand,

Turn away all helping hand.

Is it courage too strong to care,

Or is it Pride, too strong to bear?



So walk into the darkness Dear,

Face wildest potent Fear.

Test your mettle 'gainst it's brawn,

Fight until the break of Dawn.
