I see we're all still here and no "rapture" happened. I'm going to tell everybody it was the Doctor that saved us last night at the stroke of midnight and that is the real reason there was no "judgement day".
Had a fairly good week. Got to see Reverend Horton Heat and he puts on one hell of a show. Everyone of you that reads this should do your damnedest to see this man perform. He had two local acts open up for him and I'm planning on keeping my eye open for when they play next because they were fantastic as well. Come to find out that this was RHH 25th Anniversary and they started out the show doing 2 songs from each of their albums going in chronological order. After the they got to the 6th album they said fuck it and asked the crowd what we wanted to hear since it was the very last show on the tour. Now I've seen a band do this for one song but they did about 8 requested songs and finished it up with Psychobilly Freakout. The stage went dark and they walked off thanking everybody and at this point I figured we'd get an encore of 2-3 songs but oh no the good ol Reverend played another 10 song set. This is easily one of my favorite shows I've ever been to. I got to meet Jimbo the bass player after the show. He was very cool and took his time to take pictures with the ladies and talk to anybody who wanted to talk to him. One of the most friendliest guys I've ever met. I didn't get to meet Jim Heath but I did get one of his guitar pics that he used for the first half of the show. I being the awesome uncle that I am bought my niece a RHH shirt and not myself. Still haven't heard back about the job I applied for so I think that's a good thing. It means I may at least get an interview once they do all the back ground checks. I do need to clean out my system of some stuff so any suggestions would be awesome. I don't smoke that often really but I have and would like to hear suggestions other than drinking lots and lots of water which I've been doing. So cross your fingers for me. I just need to get out of my current job so bad.

Yeah I love love love churches. I am not in the least big religious but I just love them. Old buildings in general really and we have a truck load of them
