The gym royally kicked my ass this last week. So much I haven't gone the last few days because it had become a chore to get out of bed. I'm going to go back to my 2 days on 1 day off. Give my body some time to rest and recoop. My sister boyfriend has quit on me because working out so late is affecting his work. He works for 6am-2pm. So 4-5 hours of sleep is taking it's toll on him. So I'm back to flying solo on the whole gym and working out.

I went and had drinks tonight with my ex/baby mama. It went well. We haven't seen each other in 8 or 9 years. We've talked over facebook and a few times over the phone but hadn't seen each other in quite some time. Maybe I'm getting old and sentimental but she looked as beautiful as the first day I saw her. Some of you might think to ask me if I still love her. Sure I do! She's the mother of my child but I'm not in love with her. I also don't want kids again and she's got plenty of them. I will admit it's a lot easier talking to her about things. Things I just don't talk to anybody about. It was a good night.

I finally got around to watching Gran Torino tonight. I picked it up at my local Half Priced Books along with some old Dr Who VHS tapes. It was a damn good movie. I'd go as far as to put it in my top ten movies I've seen. It made me think about a lot of stupid little things. I highly recommend this movie if you haven't seen it already.

Had three pints of beer and a shot of crown at the bar and when I got home I polished off the last third of one of my bottles of crown. It was a good day. Now some music that has been stuck in my head all day and some just popped into my head.

I could listen to this song all day. It sums up me and my ex so well.
