Well I've been keeping myself fairly busy as of late. I'm still unemployed and sick of not having a job.
Been watching my niece 3 or 4 days out of the week. She is such a blessing in my life right now. She falls asleep on my chest for hours at a time and it's so cute.
Been playing a lot of video games as well. Picked up Lego Batman last week and it has been such a blast going around as all the lego Batman characters and destroying all sorts of stuff.
The roommate picked up Fable 2 this week and I never played the original, but I'm glad I've decided to play this one. I'm playing through my first time as good and then plan to on the second time trough to be an evil bastard. LOL!
I'm going to be moving soon. My roommates are buying a house and have asked me to move with them. I feel kind of awkward though. I feel as if I'm a third wheel so to speak. I think it boils down to the fact that they're married and just had a kid that makes me feel sort of out of place. I guess it doesn't help that the majority of the people I hang out with are all settling down these days and I'm one of the the very few that are still single. Meh!
Picked up the new Hank III cd and it kick's all sorts of ass. It's so scary how much Hank III looks like his grandfather Hank Williams Sr. He sounds a lot like him as well. If you ever want to hear some good country go check his stuff out. I picked up the last Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies cd that came out and it's o.k. I figure it will grow on me as soon as I hear it a few more time. Also in music we have the Dropkick Murphy's coming to Iowa. Man I can't wait for that show next month. They kick all sort of ass each time I get to see them. If you ever get the chance to see them live do it! It will so be worth the price of admission.
We finally had a Suicide Girls event here in Iowa all thanks to the lovely Churtch. We also had the lovely Nexus, Rosaleigh , and Oui show up. I met a few new people from KC that were all cool cats. I'm glad it had a good turn out since it was all for charity. Here are some of my very amateur pics from the event.
