Well..what an interesting few days it's been.
First off, to anyone who read my last post...sorry to come across as such a wacky bastard, but my medicine decided to go nuts on me...luckily, i'm all regulated again, and back to my normal self..well, as normal as I get anyway.
So, on to more important things....saw Equilibrium tonight, and I Must say, it was damn good. For those of you not fortunate enough to have run across this movie, take George Orwell, The Matrix, Fahrenheit 451 and a dash of post apoyclapse Mad Max, put in a blender, Frappe it, and you got Equilibrium. The story invovles a future world where, after World War 3 pretty much destroyed everything, the powers to be have decided that man's nature is it's greatest enemy..so they outlaw emotions, and send fascist looking police forces to "terminate" anyoen accused of feeling or collecting anything that will trigger feelings..paintings, books, etc etc. The most bad ass of these guys are called "Clerics", highly trained killing machines that have learned this kung-fu style of gunfighting, using stastical mathematics to determine the best place to kill as many combantants as possible. Dont want to give to much away, but let's just say that it seriosily kicked ass..and right now, I think it was better than Matrix: Reloaded. Damn, never thought i'd say THOSE Words.
Well, it's Saturday night around 1:30, ive got half a bottle of cheap wine to drink and some serious internet cruising to do.
-Deep breath- Ah..it's good to be back.
