Sorry I havent been around much, Ive been working way too much. My store is closed and Im now at my new lab. I like it; its going to take some time to get settled in.

Im working with my old boss who is now my employee. We are having a blast.

On my first day at the new lab I met an old guy who just got back from Washington D.C. He was showing photos from his trip and telling little tid bits about the monuments and stuff. Then he showed me a photo of a B-29 bomber and asked me if I know what the Enola Gay is? For those of you who dont know, the Enola Gay was the bomber that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima.

He told me this wasnt the first time he had seen the plane, he saw it almost 60 years ago. This guy was stationed at the base that the Enola Gay launched from. This guy actually took part in an event that changed the world. That is amazing to me.

I had a ton of questions I wanted to ask him, but when he was talking about it clearly made him very sad. I didnt bother him with any of my questions, it didnt seem right being that it upset him.

Pardon the pun, but that just blew me away.
