I got my severance package in the mail today. Its a folder with about a hundred pages in it. I need to sit down and read it over. The majority of it seems to be things I have to sign stating that Im not going to burn down my lab of Kodaks HQ because they fired me. Im sorry, I wasnt fired, I was released from my employment.

The girl who has worked for me the past year and a half is a real sweetheart. When I told her we were closing she was more concerned with what I was going to do. She has another part time job so she has something to fall back on until she gets another job. Im going to miss her.

I really wanted to go to PHP. I had gotten myself pumped up for it after being unsure if I was going just a few weeks back. Unfortunately, I need to do the adult responsible thing and save my pennies. Gas, food and rent are my main concern at this point. It sucks.
