So much to talk about, I dont know where to start.
The ride to Toronto was a blast. SYH653 and Oninotaki are entertaining travel companions. From the history of warfare to the tax breaks of government assigned wives, it was a fun trip.
I came to the conclusion that the reason Canada can have universal health care is because of all the money they are saving by not putting up road signs. If you wanted to know where the museum of teeth knocked out of hockey players was, or the LABATTS brewery was, they had theses on signs. If you wanted to know were gas and food were, well your pretty much on your own.
We almost saw a bird fly into the giant windmill on Lake Shore drive. It was kind of freaky because 30 seconds earlier SYH653 was telling us about that very problem out west.
The hotel was nice. Im sure they regretted having us. Noise complaints, do it yourself saunas in the bathroom. I didnt get to kiss X but I did get to set in a bathtub full of water with Oninotaki and Caits friend in the Prom dress. I cant remember her name? She washed my hair, that was kind of fun.
Rode on my first subway and trolley car, which was cool. I could have stayed on the subway all night. Ill explain later. Got a severer case of vertigo as we were walking one way and the subway cars were moving past us. I was glad I was by the wall so I could put my hand on it and close my eyes. Had I been on the outside thinks may not have gone so well.
When we finely got to prom, I was more than a little disappointed. They charged too much for drinks. 6 bucks of a bottle of Mikes Hard lemon aid. I heard from many people that the mixed drinks were weak. The two bands sucked ass. Every time they would start to play, half the bar got up and walked out back to the patio.
My social phobias and shyness kicked into high gear. I think I only talked to a handful of people I didnt already know. I finally talked to Sabine for a little bit. I have to say, she is just too cute for words.
I headed back with the first group to the hotel. I think our cab driver was trying to get us to tell him the secrets of Americas nuclear program. He had a dull monotone voice and he just kept asking questions.
I decided to go to bed after multiply argument began breaking out in the main room. Got in bed with Oninotaki and one of Caits friends. After awhile she got up and slept in the closet with Cait. So Oni and I got a bed to ourselves.
X and Caits other friend were in the next bed. I think Oni put it best, I drifted off to sleep to the slurping sounds coming from their bed.
I had a great time. I got to spend sometime with some people I had wanted to get to know. My photos turned out kind of crappy. The camera got soaked in my personal waterfall in my bedroom. Ill try and get the pics up soon.
To everyone I thank you for a good time. I still kind of feel like the new kid in class but you guys rock for making me feel welcome. I thank you.
I have a 13-hour day tomorrow. I start the day with a conference call that will no doubt tick me off for the rest of the day. I may blow it off. May 29th is closing in. That is my goal date to find another job and turn in my 2 weeks notice. Any appendages you would like to cross for me would be greatly appreciated.
