Me: Hi, I live in your apartments; I have water pouring in the window of my bedroom.
Lady at the office: You have a small leak?
Me: No, there is water POURING in my window.
Her: What it is you need?
Me: I need you to stop the water from POURING into my bedroom.
Her: Ill call maintenance, it may take awhile, they dont like to go out when it is raining.
Me holding the phone up to the waterfall coming in from around the frame of my window: I dont think you understand, there are gallons of water coming into my apartment.
Her: Ill let maintenance know, sir.
So I walk in my place. Its a downpour out side. Im standing by the door and I hear running water. A lot of running water, it sounded like a small waterfall. I think, oh shit, my roommate must have left a window open. I check the kitchen window, its closed. Go to the living room, closed. I walk into my room and turn on the light. There is a sheet of water about two and a half feet wide pouring out at the top of the window frame.
The rain stops and the water stops coming in the window. Everything I had on that side of my room is soaked. Bed, books, CDs, lamp, radio, everything.
Then I hear, drip, drip, DRIP DRIP DRIP, I look up and water starts coming out of the heat/AC vent over my bed. I grabbed a small trashcan and caught most of it. I dumped at least 2 gallons of water out when it finally stop.
Half-hour later the maintenance guy shows up. He looks at it and tells me he cant do anything about it. The gutters on the roof are all clogged up and that is forcing the rain to back up and get in the building.
I ask, What am I supposed to do if it starts raining later tonight?
He tells me that until they get someone out to fix the gutters its going to keep doing it. Then he tells me, he had 15 calls for the samething on Monday night during the storm that knocked out are power.
Tomorrow Im going to pay a little visit to the office.

As for tomorrow, unless you hear differently, I'm going. So here's the plan I hacked out with SheWulf a couple weeks ago:
Arrive at my place around noon. Drive to Oninotaki's old place, get there around 1-2PM. Depart for Canada (I'm leaning towards Sarnia via Port Huron because it's both closer & less travelled). Assuming a small wait at the border (30 minutes), arrive in Toronto around 7-8PM. Check into the hotel, change into appropriate attire, and then off we go to Prom.
I called Oni & updated him on the schedule. He can't get onto SG for some reason, so any SG communication with him is null (for now).
