Ive started meditating again. It seems to be helping with my depression/anxiety.
Im going to borrow a page from TiffanyJewel.
Customer: I want to get these digital films developed. (She hands me a Kodak disposable camera.)
Me: If you want to get the free CD with this it has to go to our send-out service.
Customer: No youre not listening; its a digital camera.
Me: No, its a regular disposable camera. If you send it in you get a free CD with it.
Customer: No its a digital camera. I just want you to develop the digital part.
Me: I can develop the film for you but you wont get a CD with it.
Customer: I already told you its not on a CD, its digital.
Me: (attempting to shoot death beams out my eyes.) Its not a digital camera. There is a roll film inside.
Customer: I know that, its digital film.
Me: (thinking, for the love of God women, just go to sams club.) Its 35mm film. Its called plus digital because you get a free CD with it.
Customer: I dont have time for this. Erase the digital thing when youre done so I can reuse it.
Me: (trying to shoot death beams out of my eyes and kill myself.) You can only use it once; its a disposable camera.
Customer: When my friend takes her digital films to Wal-Mart they give her back her digital card. I paid eight dollars for this digital camera!!!
This went on a little longer but you get the idea. I had this same conversation with two people yesterday, almost word for word.
God I hate my job.
I was going to post another one of my mini Post It note stories but Im too tired to type it. Ive done open to close shifts the past few days. I really need some sleep. So Ill repost one of my favorites.
Strawberry Twilight.
My first kiss was on a hill out back of my granddaddies farm. It was Dorys thirteenth birthday. She looked beautiful in her yellow sundress. She had the prettiest brown eyes I had ever seen.
She had a daisy tucked behind her ear. I had picked it for her as we walked. She and I were drawn together. We were to young to know the reasons why, but we were a pair. Dory was and is my only true love.
It was late in the day. The sun was setting and the sky was full of pinks and purples, blues and reds. My grandma used to call it the strawberry twilight. She said it was a magic moment when any wish could come true.
I was nervous. My hands were shaking. I had decided that today would be the day I kissed her. We spent almost the whole day together and every time I tried to work up my courage to do it, I couldnt. The day was almost done and I was running out of time.
Looking back I guess it wasnt the best kiss. It was clumsy and a little awkward. First kisses usually are. But it was a perfect kiss, in a magic moment, under the strawberry twilight.
Let me know what you think if you feel like it.

I would fucking hate dealing with idiots like the one you mentioned. But you can at least be happy you aren't stupid like them.
(PS - It's LaDolceVita. I just changed my name.)
