I made a video store clerk do a double take; I think it was his first day. So tonight Im babysitting two of my nieces and I told them I was going to bring a special movie for us to watch. While I was looking around I found a documentary I have wanted to see, so I grabbed it and went up to the counter. The two movies I picked up were March of the Penguins and Inside Deep Throat. His reaction was classic.

I highly recommend Inside Deep Throat; its was very interesting. The film examines the social and political upheaval that sprang from the conservative Nixon era. They talked to many of the key people who were involved with the making of it and how it affected the rest of their lives.

Harry Reams was the first actor to ever be convicted for his performance in a movie. The prosecution singled him out and they were going to make an example of him in the hope that they could use scare tactics to kill the adult genre.

I know a lot or people arent big on documentaries, but trust me, this is one worth watching. As an added bonus, you get to see the birth of the Religious Reich as the self appointed moral compass of society.
