blog should just be replaced with bitch instead of just being synonymous with it.
finished my first semester of grad school today - exciting. Learned a lot of chemistry, got into one of the top organometallic groups in the world, met a lot of new people, pissed off about twice as many, bright future or more like promising.
An Aside:
was a celebratory gathering of the first years at a friends place - we were playing taboo (which is great to play) and I noticed one thing - couples . . . .
I don't know why I thought about it - there was technically only one, another two just being drunksies and still two more that didn't have their significant others with them. There was was 4 of us not in 'exclusive' relationships (hell if I know what that really means lol)
brains are not sexy unless accompanied by a good looking body - since no will read this i won't have to put my snide comment about anyone who refutes that because, honestly, its the truth

I still have to grade another final exam tomorrow morning at 10 - then plan on moving my books and other materials to my new desk in the Jones' lab and begin my research on intramolecular C-H activation and nitrogen containing heterocycle synthesis
