ah new post . . . very rare I hit that button
but i felt like it today
So i have exciting news for real! Im playing a few shows in a couple different bands up in march. Now the one band Stage Crew I have been friends with for years and have been longing to play with them or help out for the longest time and now that time has come. I filling in on bass, in which my friend usually holds down but he's got to start his job in Erie PA so he's unavailable for some shows. Im so excited becasue I have wanted to play with these guys since they lost their guitar player (though bass is my first instrument) so i'll be hitting cleveland and buffalo for a st. patty's day marathon with Stage Crew (in which they are Celtic Rock)
Second Im also filling in bass for One's Own Blood which my old guitar player from Kill One to Warn a Hundred (andy) is a part of. Again im excited becasue these guys are getting somewhere fast and im not sure if im into that right since I would really rather get in to grad school and go from there BUT since Im applying so late its possible that I could join up with them for a bit in the meantime. So i'll also be in buffalo and cleveland with these guys as well
Which thirdly, im starting this really late, im applying to grad schools for chemistry/medicinal chemistry and im really hoping that I can get it still. if worse comes to worse I'll apply (and get in) to UB and idle their until i get accepted into a school I would actually want to go to like Ohio State or Boston College or maybe I'll end up in Oregon for a year!!!!!! so im really excited aside from being sick as hell
