Ok, today i was doing Bio homework and came across Belgian Blue: a super strong cow due do excessive amount of actin filaments that were built up in his body causeing him to have excessive muscles. I started looking into what could cause this: a defective gene named Myostatin (GDF-8) which helps breakdown actin filaments (which are found a lot in muscle tissue) therefore limits muscle growth: this has some benefits. This inhibition of the gene GDF-8 could help certain muscular disesaes (MD inparticular) to help rebuild muscle in the body. Also this would be an alternative to steriods becasue this would build up a person very fast without ding anything. I dunno, look up Belgian Blue on Goole Images and you'll see a super ripped cow and a baby doing a one armed pushup (or a well defined baby)
