FRUSTRATION!!!

My internet connection sucks right now, its been raining a lot and when it does that, my connection gets kinda unstable. I cant play my video games for a while, at best I can browse the web and other limited bandwidth crap.

Somebody asked Twitch to go to Las Vegas a few months from now as a girls vacation, so she came to me and asked if I would be upset. I have to admit I am jealous but I have no problem with it, as long as I get to see pictures of all the ahem activities.

Question of the Day:
If cybernetic implants existed would you get the surgery to have some implanted? If so, what would you get? If not, why not?

Although I am as "connected" as anyone should be aloud to be, I would never want a cybernetic implant of any sorts. I woudl still want that "off" function. Society is becoming too intertwined with technology and this whole "world wide network" thing. With credit card companies already incorporating RFID technology into our credit/debit cards, pharmaceutical companies using similiar type of technology to track medication and consumer good stores using it not only to track stock but also to be used for marketing purposes, I do not want any part of it.

I could go on and on about biometrics, RFID, LBS systems and so on, but I try to leave work at the office.


All I have to say is if they are implaning tiny devices in pets to better track medical records and humans to follow, we will all be all too connected and that will be a bad thing. Just my thoughts.
