So while away from SG I started a myspace blog. Cause well I needed to blog and had no privacy to do SG....though I only got to do two posts on myspace anyway. So I will include my two entries from myspace so you guys can see what I was up to while apartment hunting/moving.

Well today is my second day in Toronto. I am trying to find a place in Pickering because I just got a job at the Pickering Public Library. I am the new childrens librarian there.
I'm looking at three places tomorrow and one place one sunday. I really hope I find something quickly. I don't want to stay with M and N all of June, I want to find a place by the first. Oh I hope I do!

Today I slept in till 10am. Then lazed around until lunch. Since it was my last day before starting work I thought I should go do some window shoping so off I went down Younge street. I ended up at the Eaton Center. I had an Arby's market fresh sandwich and a strawberry kiwi bubble tea from Bubble Tease! It was the best bubble tea I ever had! I then discovered a hello kitty store and got lost in there for like 40mins. I came out with hello kitty lunch containers and a new wallet for Travis. It has Jack Skeleton on it...from the nightmare before xmas, which travis loves!
I then wondered around for a while and found a sushi place that sells fresh packaged sushi. I stopped to look and found they had Edamame! Yummy! I bought some for supper.
I also bought a magic egg for Monty and Nastia for letting me stay here. It is an egg with a plant inside an if you follow the instructions the plant comes out of the egg with a message on one of the leaves. I had one before so I know they work. I hope they like it. I think they are neat. Funny thing is they come from a Halifax based seller according to the packaging but they are orginally from Tawian.
Anyway I am now back at Monty's. I was very tempted to buy more bubble tea...but I didn't. It is $3 a glass so I figured I shouldn't.
So I sign the lease tomorrow on an apartment. It is fairy close to work and quite spacious. Good size living room, kitchen, dinning room (which could be turned into a guest bedroom really) Big bedroom and a nice bathroom. I like it, just hope Travis does too! Travis arrives on Wed. so I will know soon if I made the right choice.
I also start work tomorrow. I am nervous and excited! I hope I do well
