I caught three fish in Animal Crossing 2! Yuka the koala just moved in and is now my friend. I love Animal Crossing! I'm so addicted.
Have you ever noticed how certain people have a really touchable kind of skin? I don't know if its something about the colour or the texture or what, but you just want to reach out and touch it. There's nothing quite like touching someones' bare skin for the first time. Of course threre's always the problem of not knowing if touching would be apreciated. You might want to just reach out and stroke someone's arm, but not know if they would want you too.
Blathers the owl can identify your fossils right in your town in the new Animal Crossing. You used to have to mail them away to the main branch of the museum and they would send you the result. What a pain! This is much more efficient.
I have a really packed weekend coming up:
Friday:
Work from 9-5
dinner with my parents
Party at sitticus's! (I can't wait)
Saturday:
Making fruitcake with my mom in the morning
Dentist Appointment in the afternoon
Christmas shopping with my honey
After that... who knows?
Sunday:
Flea Market*
Chronicles of Narnia with my honey (and maybe sitticus if she'll go too)
After the movie I'm having a tree decorating party and All my friends are invited! sitticus isn't so big on christmas, but she agreed to come anyway so my honey and I got some Nightmare Before Christmas lights that she can string on the tree. I like to think there's always room for skeletons at christmas!
*I heart the flea market.
Not the tables that are there every week selling stolen razorblades and discout computer monitors. I heart the tables with 80-year old couples cleaning out their attics. The tables where people will share their meaningless junk with the masses in hopes that someone will find some small treasure of interest the way it once was of interest to them.
At a store there is always a limit on the possibilities of what you might find for sale. At the flea market there is no such limit. Theoretically, you could find anything:
A piece of broken jewellery that i just have to have, knowing full well i will never wear it. A stuffed animal that looks like it wasn't given enough love that I can take home and bring to bed and intruduce to all my other stuffed guys. A book i'd read and loved as a child and had forgotten about for 20 years until i saw it in a pile with other faded, spine cracked books for 25 cents a piece. That's what I heart about the flea market.
That was a long entry. I should rest up for my big weekend, but I better check in on my animal crossing village before bed. Just for like 5 minutes though...
