the kids broke up from school today. it felt wierd because i know i have another week helping to move the ENTIRE junior school into th einfant building. fun fun.
it was quite sad to see them go, they were such a hand full at the start of the year but im really fond of them now. my little russian girl, the really bright one who moved up 2 levels since september and only cam eto the country 10 months ago, her mum cam eto see me at the gate at the end of the day to say thankyou and i starte dto cry....im such a soppy cow.
on monday another (wierd) mum accused my of bullying her child. shes had a go at me before...it is a different one to the other wierd mum. and then today this wierd mum came up and thanked me for all the hard work id put in with her daughter......bizarre. but it doesnt end there.......
the parent who accused my of racism left me a gift with the secretary...it was really chavvy and yucky (going to my car boot sale) but the best part was the gift tag "thankyou for being a great teacher, your one in a million."
i tell you, i laughed so hard. this is teh lady who refused to come and see me to talk about her daughters education and then accused me of picking on her daughter.
if i didnt have more self confidence i'd have a complex with all these wierd parents moaning about me!!!!!!!!
its the star wars 30th anniversay celebration tomorrow. very excited. i have my credit card ready to buy loads of stuff.
alex is working late tonight, he must be knackered as he left for work at 5:45am. its now 7:20pm. still its loads of overtime for him!!!
