Ugh... So what I thought was a mild cold turned out to be covid. I tested Tuesday to humor my girlfriend and it was negative. But because we were supposed to go away together this weekend and meet up with a bunch of friends, she wanted me to test again. So yesterday, Thursday, I did. π² I got the dreaded double-red lines. π± Since the very beginning of the pandemic, I have NEVER tested positive for covid. And yes, I have tested a lot of times over the last five years.
For all these years I thought I was a Super Dodger! Dodging covid whenever it tried to get me! Alas, no more.
I'm fully vaccinated and get annual boosters. π (I'm old, so I need to!) So far it's all just horrible sinus congestion. π€§ No fever or lung problems. But also no nice weekend away. π
Take care of yourselves, People! If you don't feel well, stay away from vulnerable folks, like grandparents and people with health issues.
So glad I can hang out on SG, even when I'm sick! π
