He truly was an amazing guy. My wife and I have become total anglophiles as we she drives a Jag I drive an old Range Rover, our favorite show is Top Gear. Funny you like Man City as when I would go to soccer camp as a kid our 5 aside team was Man City. Now I like Newcastle but I haven't watched a Premiership match in a couple of weeks. Not my intention. I don't equate my mom with "old." She's the coolest mom I know. She goes to concerts and stuff with me, she gets along with my friends at parties and so forth. So it was not an insult at all. I just know she likes that kind of music as well. =P

haha thanks! I think I might do a video blog today. I was talking to someone yesterday who didn't think I look like I have a twang and lots of people who meet me online and then hear me talk are never expecting it so I thought it would be neat for you guys to hear me. I just have to get motivated to do my hair and stuff early enough before work.
So. Back to the good news. I'm off to Northern Scotland finally on Friday morning. It'll be a completely different trip to the usual winter outing. The past few years have involved full-on winter conditions, narrow ridges, whiteouts and so on. But this time it's just about the wilderness. Hiking off over a couple of mountains, and camping out by a remote loch.
