Right guys, sorry no photography in this blog!

Ok ok, me and a friend of mine are going away to Amsterdam on the 14th August, and I was just wondering if any of you have been there before. If so, is there any places you'd recommend visiting? Apart from the obvious red light district. If any of you can help me out, or give me any ides on where to go it would be helpful. smile

We're only staying for 3 nights, so not really a very long time. But, on the plus side. There'll be lots of photos. smile

My brother went to Amsterdam (well hes been a few times) - he and his friend decided to pick a place to stay once they got there. They ended up at this B&B - where they had to literally climb these stairs to the top floor as they were so steep. There was a weird massive blood stain on the floor - which my brother determined someone must have died to leave that much blood. And the shower was a pipe that squirted water out at chest height. My brothers friend took some mushrooms that made everything green, and then he threw up all over the only pair of jeans he had, and carried on wearing them for rest of the long weekend. My brother has epic stories about his times there. They are fairly drug fuelled, so I would be of no help advising where to go in Amsterdam!

Although - I am sure you can visit tulip fields - I don't know if they are in season.
