If you do it with silicone sheets, you can bond it together with silicone-based adhesives and not have to worry about stitches or zippers or fasteners. Depending on the thickness of the sheet, the elasticity should allow you to stretch it on and over your body. It blmay be more spendy than latex, but it will last longer and is easier to work with. Heres a site with a few different types of industrial sheets. http://www.rubbercal.com/sheet-rubber/silicone-rubber/ though silicone baking sheets might work just as well and are cheaper. I wouldn't try working with anything that has a shore hardness of over 60A. There is also pourable silicone

I have used this silicone for various projects, but you, with the help of a friend, could totally apply this skin-safe rubber, and create a perfectly form-fitting bra, and when mixing it, you could add color pigments to makke it match whatever you want.  http://www.smooth-on.com/Silicone-Rubber-an/c2_1115_1193/index.html
