Yeah meeting cool people is hard which is why I just go to bars and make friends with the staff within so that at least I get free drinks out of the friendship. Um...that's not entirely true my friends and I are a tight knit little bunch but we're always looking for new members if you don't mind trekking out to Staten Island we could show you a good time.
So now that I've had the weekend to make my decision on which non-paying job I want, I went with the money maker, or the one that will make me money in the future. I'll make good contacts, whatever. Thanks to those that gave their advice!

that's awsome you get to choose. it depends on what other stuff you are doing. if you have a lot of shit goin on, go with the kick-back job. if not, go for the money man. I've got a pretty laid back job because I have to spend more time on school, and doing crazy stuff, the real job I'm savin for later.
