On seeing undine_white's blog about being captured for StyleAudit, I was reminded of the site HEL LOOKS, a street fashion photography site from Helsinki, Finland. HEL LOOKS has been running for a few years now. I have a friend in Helsinki who was once photographed for the site.
It's a great source for fashion inspiration.

Here are some examples:

Unfortunately, it's also a great way to lose several hours of your evening. I just lost about half an hour before I realised what I was doing.

It reminded me, though, that lately I have displayed absolutely no sense of style. Lately I've been relying on very plain combinations... the t-shirts I own and a pair of trousers or jeans. The blandness has summer partly to blame. There are a couple of interesting items in my wardrobe -- a couple of scarves, the odd hat -- but most of what I have can be grouped into these groups:
- trousers
- t-shirts (short & long-sleeved)
- jackets (some with hoods)

Admittedly, I have some superbly interesting outerwear... an icelandic jumper, a blue duffle coat ... but it just doesn't get cold enough here to justify them.

So what am I to do? And what style do I want? I'm not even sure what works for me.
